Every year on the last weekend of September, the Tenkiller area prepares for their busiest and most anticipated event of the year. From the town of Gore setting up their tents to sell an array of items, local garage sells, and the Fin & Feather Resort Fall Festival Arts & Crafts Show, this is one weekend for all to enjoy.
“We have 200 exhibitors who come from 4 or 5 state areas over the three days, last time we measured about 25,000 - 32,000 people come in for one weekend for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday,” said Steve Pool, certified executive chef. “It’s really good for this part of the county there’s all kinds of flea markets, exhibits and food stuff all the way down U.S. Highway 10 in both directions and down in Gore. This weekend is usually the biggest weekend in the whole year.”
Nannie’s at the Fin, which is known for their Famous Nightly Buffet, and Soda Steve’s, a burger joint that serves gourmet fast food and dinner specials, will be open through the festival.
